This morning I somehow dropped the ball on getting to my son's doctor's appointment because of my lack of good timing. Sometimes I don't know how to use my time the way I should. Heck, who does that all the time? Only the super de duper organized people can answer that one. I had to reschedule his appointment then start my taxi service for the day to his school.

So I was thinking as I sat down to use the library computer, (I love you Seekonk Public Library), that I would write. Because I know writing is part of who I am, even being a mom, who stays home while her kids at school, I am a writer. I LOVE reading, writing, word games (on FB, but will challenge YOU to a real Scrabble game if you are up for it.)

However, I am also a wife and domestic(or undomestic depending on the day) goddess that always has a project going home on at home. Organizing, cleaning, laundry, cleaning, cooking, baking(another thing I love to do!)...there is always something to do!

I do have a writing project I am doing for Seekonk Patch shortly at the Hurley Middle School. If you have been reading my blogs you would know that I am the secretary for the PTO at HMS. Well, there is an event for the students today, and I am going to report on it for the PTO Board and send it Patch. Plus, my photography skills will be tested too.

Rather than waste my time doing silly internet word games and trying to catch up with friends on Facebook, I am serving my community today. Tomorrow there is voting, today there is reporting a school assembly event.

As I drove back to Seekonk from Swansea I thought to myself, "Hmm, too bad that isn't a breakfast diner instead of a seafood restaurant, i could get a job then pick up Ant." Ha Ha... Then I went through my days as they are now, and thought hmmm, no way. I have the best job in the world and the best rewards by far through my children, my husband, and my community. Plus, I have time to write too!

Now I am off to peruse the library bookshelves(yes, I even have time to read), maybe run into another parent I know, then go to the very unique artistry that is appearing at Hurley Middle School.
