I recently spent a few hours at the Seekonk Animal Shelter and headquarters of the Seekonk Save A Pet Society. Kinda noisy in there as soon as a member of the human species walks in!
That's partly because they have a full house of cuddly cats and dogs ready for adoption. Cage upon cage of friendly animals wanting to go home with a new, caring owner.
I was there to take photographs (portraits) of some of the residents that the Save A Pet Society will be using for a special promotion later this year. This Saturday, they will be at the Aitken Elementary School, located at 165 Newman Ave. in Seekonk, for the school's Pumpkin' Somethin' Fall fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Go here to see some of the pet portraits that I captured. And go here to the Seekonk Save A Pet Society's website.

Steve, that's a great thing that you have done for the pets and the community - I hope it helps these animals find forever homes!
Adopting a pet from a shelter is something you will not regret - these animals know that you rescued them and in many cases they rescue you as well! They are so loyal and grateful.
