Discovering a Sweet Treat in Downtown Attleboro

I noticed recently there is an amazing looking bakery in downtown Attleboro that I knew nothing about. So I decided to take a look. The bakery, Sweet Gifts, is owned by Patti Lamarre, and they are about to celebrate their one-year anniversary. But believe me when I say this, they are no rookies in the bakery game.

As you walk in the door you are met with a beautiful pink backdrop throughout the place. It just makes you want to eat some sweets, which could be dangerous. It is a nice clean atmosphere and the tasty treats are displayed perfectly. It was difficult NOT to leave with at least a cupcake ... And maybe some truffles ... and maybe a cookie, or pie, or anything on the menu!

Speaking with Patti, I learned that their main treats are cupcakes, but they also do so much more. They also provide specialty cakes for birthdays, anniversaries, or any special occasion you could think of. Sweet Gifts also specializes in special occasion gift favors as well. Patti has said that her customers absolutely love them!!

I also asked what their signature is, and what I should not leave without trying? She responded with a resounding: cupcakes! They were delicious! I devoured three cupcakes during the time it took me to write this blog, the Peanut Butter Cup, Red Velvet, and Orange Cream!

I was there just today - stopped in and grabbed a lemon cupcake that was filled w/ lemon curd. Yum!

Hi Steve,
They are located downtown at 63 Park St. They are a few doors down from Scorpios, and right next to the Fortune House.
