What has he ever earned? Just go away, move to California or something, please!! We don't need free anything thank you very much. What we need is Gvm't to stay out of our life and I think we'll manage just fine. thank you.

You don't have to serve in the military to serve your country and get a perspective on what a great country we have.

Joe Kennedy served in the Peace Corps and didn't ask for any privilages due to his station in life. How many amoung us have done that? I admire Sean Bielat for his service and accomplishments, but he is a Republican. He voice of Massachusetts moderation will get lost within the ever increasing "my way or the highway" Republican contingent in the House of Representatives.

People find different ways to serve their country. There may be no American who provided greater service to this country in the last century than Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He didn't serve in the military. Instead, he led a nonviolent movement for civil rights based on the love ethic of Jesus and the methods of Gandhi. Those who participated in that movement were beaten, jailed, and sometimes killed, displaying as much courage as soldiers do, but refusing to retaliate for the violence they encountered. The alternative to Dr. King was a bloody uprising or racial war a century after the Civil War. Those active in the civil rights struggle didn't receive pay checks or medical or other benefits from the government. But they served the country nevertheless. I'd match the service of Rep. John Lewis of Atlanta, arrested 26 times during the civil rights movement and beaten bloody in Selma, Alabama with that of Sen. John McCain, who served in Vietnam and was a prisoner of war. Both displayed courage and dedication to the ideals of this country.

Joe Kennedy III has never held a real job; however, the Kennedy's think that they are entitled to a congressional seat because of their family name. Joe Kennedy III hasn't even lived in the district long enough to understand the district's needs. Sean Bielat has lived in the district for many years, he understands the needs of the people who live here and he has real job/business experience.

The comment was that he "has never had a real job." Whether he "stood in line" for the job is a different matter.

I wasn't aware that he was an assistant district attorney. I thought that he had served in an internship in the district attorney's office, my mistake on that part; however, he has no real private sector business experience. He only knows and supports big government.

The question is though, did Joe Kennedy III become an Assistant District Attorney because of his family name?? If his last name wasn't Kennedy, I doubt that he would have the job of Assistant District Attorney at this stage of his life.

Sean Bielat who currently serves in the U.S Marine Reserves as a Major is the right person to represent veterans in Washington.

This Kennedy kid is nothing. He is nothing but a name. Everyone knows it; even the Dems. They spend all their time defending his paper thin resume, but what has he done with his life. Bielat called it in their debate - Joe, you're a nice guy buy you have 2.5 years of work experience. Joe said "I'm proud of my service." Good, Joe, and you should be, but don't kid people by saying you're ready to go to Congress when since day one you've been told what to say, where to go and how to act, day in day out. You are ANYTHING BUT READY.

It was 4 months before Joe even had an issues tab on his website; yet he raised over $1 million in those 4 months. How? Oh... yes, he is a Kennedy so we know what we are getting... but don't say he is running on his name.

Consider this. Assume that Kennedy wasn't in the race. Now if Mitt Romney's son moved into this district for the sole purpose of running for Congress, Dems would be up in arms. They would say he is a carpetbagger. They would say go home. They would say we have enough of our own good residents who are from this district who will better represent this district. Yet, the Dems aren't saying that.

Let's for the sake of argument say that Kennedy wasn't in the race at all. Their first attack on Bielat would be that he is a carpetbagger.

If Bielat is going to have any chance to win this thing, he had better start getting a better ground game than he has had. We never see anything about him in Attleboro. Just a few yard signs. He doesn't even have an office here. I want him to win but really, he needs to do more to win against the political machine known as Kennedy.
