All we can hope for is change, because another four years of this malaise and we'll all be singing a dirge.

That's what Obama said! If Romney got in, how would he put people back to work? Every President for the last 30yrs has said he would put people back to work. The only way to do that is stop China imports, and that will not happen. Don't let your dislike of the Democrats cloud your mind, Romney is full of it, they all are.

RE jobs
I was not bedazzled by Obama. I am not bedazzled by Romney. However, under Obama the American "can do" spirit has been crushed. He is not a unifier. He is the Great Divider.
To quote that great American, Popeye the sailor man: "That's all I can standz, cuz I can't standz no more!"

America was divided way before Obama. Many people that live in this country will never work. Why work when the government will pay me to stay home is how they think. Welfare, unemployment, foodstamps, free housing, free cell phones, with all the free perks "can do" is now "you do" and I will stay home and collect.

"America was divided way before Obama." And he deepened the division. Another four years of his floundering and foolish spending are going to be very difficult to bear. Half the country is vehemently against him. Impeachment will be on many people's mind should he get elected.
Instead of worrying about welfare recipients, google how much it costs the taxpayers for all of Obama's campaign trips... and now his wife's. We could feed half the country's poor for a year on what these two spend on tripping around to fund raisers, campaigning for themselves, campaigning for fellow Democrats in a month. It is ridiculous. And we are all footing the bill for a guy who hasn't a plan or a clue what to do next except getting re-elected.
Enough !!

I may be wrong, but It looks like the unemployment rate is generally going in the desired direction? In nearly every case it is down from where it was a year ago. And definitely below the national average.
