Trees Down; Cleanup Begins in Attleboro
Attleboro Police and the Dept. of Public Works are in the cleanup mode.
There are tree down throughout Atteboro. Some trees missed houses and landed on local roads and took down power lines.
The Regionial Shelter is open at Attleboro High School. It is being manned by the American Red Cross and SMART, in coordination with the Attleboro Police.
If your power is still out there is plenty of room at the shelter with activities for the kids including basketball. Food is in limited and donations are welcome.

The city should be helpimg it residents since so many have no power.the mayor should be working on getting ice, etc. it is a shame the shelter does not have enough food.

For such a minor storm to wreak such havoc is incredibly worrisome! What happens if we really get hit with a legitimate disaster? Our power was out at 8 am, well before the storm began. Not feeling confident at all about National Grid

National Grid is in too many states to provide good service, North Attleboro had damage but is in much better shape than us. We never went this long withoutbpower with mass electric.
