Tree Lighting Scheduled for Seekonk

Take a look at what's happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.

 

1. A Christmas tree lighting ceremony and other festivities, including student music performances, will take place at Seekonk Town Hall (100 Peck St.) at 6 p.m.

2. The Attleboro Redevelopment Authority will hold a meeting at Attleboro Public Library at 3 p.m.

3.  Do you have a menorah for Hanukkah? If you don't, there is no need to start schvitzing. Go to The Home Depot today (1100 Newport Ave.) for a menorah-making workshop co-hosted by Congregation Agudas Achim. The event begins at 4 p.m.

4.  The Attleboro Chess Club will meet at Attleboro Public Library at 6 p.m.

5. The National Weather Service's daytime forecast calls for sunny skies and a high near 40. At night, it is expected to be mostly clear with a low near 25.
