Days After Antique Store Clears Out, Two New Businesses Slated to Move In

Two new businesses will move into space left vacant by an antiques store.

It looks like two new businesses will soon occupy the empty space at 6-8 South Main St. in downtown Attleboro.

Just days after Antiques, Collectables 'N More packed up its comic books and other odds and ends, the store's landlord Mark De Chambeau has already leased the space to the owners of a computer repair store and a home goods store.

Carl's Custom Computers, which will sell and fix computers, will occupy one side of the location, while Main Street Inspirations, a home goods store, will occupy the other side, according to Attleboro Building Commissioner Doug Semple.  Valerie Robbins and her cousin Carl will run the two stores.

A City of Attleboro occupancy permit dated December 5 confirmed the new businesses. Valerie Robbins could not be reached for comment.

The change of occupancy permit came just days after Antiques, Collectibles 'N More owner Stephen Bergevine emptied his antiques from the South Main Street space.

Great Store it's like a treasure hunt. I saw a beaded picture there that was amazing. I found some great things, worth the trip again and again.
