Seekonk Selectmen Vote for 1 Polling Station
Selectman Gary Sagar says there should be two.
The Seekonk Board of Selectmen voted Wednesday to continue with the status quo when it comes to elections. In a 4-1 decision, the selectmen decided the town will continue to have all voting done at Seekonk High School.
The dissenting vote came from Selectman Gary Sagar, who wanted to have two polling stations. Sagar also proposed the town hold its annual local election in November rather than April. The selectmen will vote on this possible change during a future meeting.
