The Seekonk Police Department reported the following recent arrests (an arrest does not indicate a conviction).

Jan. 2

• *9:23 p.m. Seekonk residents David Stuart Lund, 59, and Deborah Ann Lonardo, 54, were arrested following a traffic stop at the corner of Cole Street and Fall River Avenue. Lund was suspected of operating a vehicle after his license was suspended. Lonardo was arrested on a warrant.
• 11:15 p.m. Providence residents Dashan Hodge, 23, and Shaquille Cooper, 19, were arrested following a high-speed pursuit. Go here for more information on this story. 

Jan. 4

• 10:55 a.m. Brent Arlindo Alves, 20, was arrested at Best Buy (41 Commerce Way) on suspicion of shoplifting, malicious destruction of property valued at less than $250 and assault and battery.
