New Poll Shows Warren with Biggest Lead of the Campaign

Public Policy Polling gives Democratic challenger candidate Elizabeth Warren a nine-point lead over Sen. Scott Brown.

In a campaign that has been too close to call, a new poll from Public Policy Polling shows Elizabeth Warren with a clear lead in the race to represent Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate.

The poll, taken between Oct. 15 and 16 on behalf of the League of Conservation Voters, has Warren leading Sen. Scott Brown 53 percent to 44 percent. The poll consisted of 705 likely voters from Massachusetts. The margin of error is 3.7 percent

Also taking a hit in the poll was Brown's approval rating that fell to 46 percent. Of those polled, 45 percent disapproved of his job performance.

Warren has enjoyed an increase in her favorable numbers. While 52 percent of those polled have a favorable view of Warren, 43 percent had an unfavorable opinion. Another five percent were unsure.

Scott Brown has hurt himself with a negative add campaign, one right after another. If he had kept it clean, he would be in front. It's not over till Nov. 6th but Scott Brown has lost his edge and a lot of the female vote.

Voting for Elizabeth will be an easy decision for informed voters! I am proud to support her! And she hopefully will vote for the President's job plans so people can get back to work!

I couldn't agree more....he is condescending and the negative ads imo, have crossed a line. I voted for him last time around but now I'm all about the girl! Whoever his advisers are should be fired for allowing him to get so dirty. When a man hammers a woman and makes it personal and snarky, (all equal rights aside) it is still considered beyond rude1

scott brown should have never been elected in the first place. he votes against the working class and then goes out and lies about his votes. now low and behold his wife is trying to save him with the same line he has. elizabeth warren fights for the working class while scott brown legislates for wall street and the rich. it amazes me the scott brown and romney signs on the lawns of these working class homes like they're going to help them. they better hope and pray they don't get in. it's like the saying goes "be careful what they wish for, they just might get it.

Well said Wayne - Scott Brown has shown his duplicity and his recent lies about the Asbestos victims he accused of being actors I think will hurt him enough to show MA that he should be voted out! I'm tired of liars like Scott Brown who work against working people

Warren is for the people where Scott Brown is clearly not. Scot Brown would vote no time and again on Unemployment extensions when his people needed it the most. Scott Brown would disband every Union if he could, the AFL-CIO would no longer exist. If it wasnt for Unions people forget like Rick Lund no one in America would be getting the wages and benefits the get today. To say that Unions are bad is simply UnAmerican.

Scott Brown has been up front through out this campaign. He's shown us that Elizabeth Warren lies just to get ahead.

I will certainly vote for the first candidate who drops out of the race, that's for sure. Otherwise, campaigns based on Senate control makes me ill. Such a tactic to garner votes, is highly worthy of none.
Either way, partizan politics will rule the day, the people lose, become more divided and at the end of the day, only the entities both candidates truly serve, win.

Maybe Scott Brown and George Ross can get together and open a restaurant. I think George Ross knows how to cook and Scott Brown knows how to sell. They may be pretty successful.

When Scott Brown wins by a wide margin, Lizzie will be collecting her high salary at Harvard just like the 1 percenters she claims to be against. Lizzie is not trustworthy, just like all the liberal left wackos.
