Letter: Thanks to a Dedicated Seekonk Worker
This letter was originally sent to Town Administrator Pamela Nolan and read into record at a recent Board of Selectmen Meeting.
My name is Ralph Pannone; my wife Cindy and I live in Seekonk.
I would like to bring to your attention the extraordinary service provided by the Animal Control Officer Sharon Hall.
We had an issue with a neighbor who was always letting their dogs run free and they would their “duty” in our and our neighbors’ yards. It took several attempts, but Sharon took care of this and the dogs are no longer roaming the neighborhood.
Another issue came up when we adopted an abandoned cat whom we named Monroe.
Monroe is an outdoor cat and is a very free spirited animal.
I am permanently disabled and my wife works full time.
Munroe can be quite difficult to cage and bring to his annual appointments. Sharon has always been there to help me get Munroe caged so I can get him to his annual checkups.
I don’t know what I would have done without her assistance.
Sharon has provided us with “Have a Heart” traps to trap stray kittens that were on our property. These kittens were testes and given a clean bill of health and were put up for adoption at the Seekonk Shelter.
Sharon is a very dedicated and extremely compassionate person and she is a truly valued asset to the town.
Ralph Pannone
