hmmmm First I've heard of a Bicentennial Ball. Was info on this mailed out to all of us Seekonk residents?

No personal invite. It has been publicized. I don't know details, but $50 for a chicken dinner is a bit pricey, IMO.

It wasn't mailed to Seekonk residents, which would be extremely expensive. It's been posted on the town's website, on Patch, and covered in several newspapers as part of the 200th anniversary activities. For a calendar of events for 2012, go to the town's official website.

Thanks deb, I guess I missed it.

A flyer in our tax bill would have been a nice way to let residents know at very little extra cost to the town since they mail our bill out anyway so no extra postage.
