Crash Sends Attleboro Resident to Hospital with Minor Injuries

An Attleboro man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with minor injuries Friday afternoon after a motor vehicle crash in Norton.
At 1:13 a.m. Friday, Norton Police and Fire Departments responded to John Scott Boulevard in the area of Mack Avenue for a report of the crash.
The vehicle, operated by Rui Ribeiro, age 46, of Lindsey Street, Attleboro, reportedly traveled off the right side of the road, struck several trees in the wooded area and rolled over onto its side. No other vehicles were involved. Ribeiro was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for non-life threatening injuries by Attleboro Fire Department rescue.
The crash is under investigation by Patrolman Bryan Cota. The operator has not been cited at this time.
