Christmas Is For Kids Donation Drive Extended to Friday

Take a look at what's happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.

1. Our good friends at The Sun Chronicle are reporting that the Christmas is for Kids program is desperately low on cash and toy donations. Because of this, the donation deadline has been extended to Friday at 8 p.m. so that the Christmas wishes can be satisfied for hundreds of children and teens in need. For more information, call 508-226-0991 or go to the program's website at www.councilforchildren.org/cifk.

2. A special Attleboro School Committee meeting will take place at 8 p.m. to go over information obtained through recent focus groups on the school district superintendent search. The meeting will take place at Attleboro High School in room 178E.
