With Attleboro's Independence Day forecast including a 60 percent chance of daytime rain, the Kidz 4th Fun event at Poncin-Hewitt complex has been moved to Sunday at 11 a.m.
As of this morning, it appears the fireworks show at Hayward Field will take place as scheduled at 9:31 p.m., with festivities beginning at 7 p.m. Fire Chief Scott T. Lachance wrote in an email that the skies are expected to clear long before the show is scheduled to start.
