Public Hearings Scheduled for Funding of Attleboro Animal Shelter, High School Track
Take a look at what's happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.
1. The Attleboro City Council will begin at 7 p.m. at Attleboro City Hall, but you probably want to arrive early. Several public hearings are scheduled, including two that should attract a large crowd—a $3.55 million loan to the city for construction of an outdoor athletic complex at Attleboro High School and a $1.116 million loan for construction of a new animal shelter.

2. Seekonk Human Services and Council on Aging will have a Seniors Shopping Day beginning at 10:15 a.m.
3. Oak Koll Wildlife Sanctuary in Attleboro will have Nature Ramblers for Preschoolers at 10 a.m.
4. The Seekonk Finance Committee will meet at Seekonk Town Hall at 7 p.m.
5. The National Weather Service is predicting today to be partly sunny, with a high near 41, north wind 3 to 7 mph. At night it is expected to be a slight chance of snow after 3 a.m. mostly cloudy, with a low around 26 with a calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Bring on the track.!! Attleboro needs it! Does the bond for that include the concession stand?? I believe that needs to be bid at another time. Oh and that is another $400K!
