City Council to Vote on Budget
Here is a look at what is happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.
- The Attleboro City Council is expected to vote on the 2012-13 fiscal year budget tonight. The session will begin at 6 p.m. at City Hall. The meeting could spill over into Tuesday.
- The East Providence/Seekonk Rotary Club will meet at Eleven Forty Nine East Restaurant at 12:15 p.m.
- The Seekonk Public Library will host 'Animal Craze Traveling Farm' at 5:30 p.m.
- The Attleboro Cultural Council will hold a meeting at Attleboro Public Library at 6:30 p.m.
- Today will be showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 a.m., then showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8 a.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 73; this is according to the National Weather Service. At night it will be dhowers and thunderstorms likely before midnight, then a chance of showers, mostly cloudy, with a low around 57.
