We have a big announcement to make. On Thursday, Feb. 7, we will be restoring Attleboro Patch and creating a new site, Seekonk-Swansea Patch.
Based on the feedback we've received from you, our faithful readers and advertisers, it was just good common sense to do this. Now, instead of asking you to find the news and information you need from one site, Attleboro will once again have a site dedicated solely to the community and Seekonk will be paired with the neighboring town of Swansea for the new Seekonk-Swansea Patch.
We know … well, why did you change it? We had hoped to offer you the same robust coverage of everything happening in both towns. We discovered tremendous support for our continued coverage of the things that matter to residents of each community! As always, let us know what you think.

Guess that will work... Swansea is akin to Seekonk in population size and undoubtedly has other similar demographics. Attleboro is big enough to stand alone.

We can all share Patch, just like we can all share services, like veterans & senior centers, animal shelters, fire stations etc. Every town and city politician should consider joint ventures for the sake of us working class fools on any and all future projects.

i agree with Keith and LeeAnn. I grew up in Seekonk and have lived in Attleboro for 24yrs.
There has never been a connection except geographicly between Seekonk and swansea. Perhaps Swansea and Rehoboth, Somerset and Fall River perhaps, but not Seekonk.
Seekonk has more of a connection with Rehoboth, esp. since the era (1966) when my HS class graduated from DR! The two HS teams continue to compete against each other in several sports. The annual Thanksgiving game is always between the two towns.
agree with concept of the Rt 152 and Ten Mile River corridor". And some Seekonk residents work in Attleboro although not as back in the Balfour and TI days. then, I'm pretty sure many residents from Attleboro & Seekonk work in RI.Seekonk and part of Rehoboth were once part of RI...but certainly not Swansea.
If anything, connect Rehoboth and Seekonk!
