Arrest Made in Dog Snatching Case

Take a look at what's happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.

 

1. The Sun Chronicle reported that a Seekonk man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of stealing the pit bull Dozer from the Attleboro Animal Shelter. Christopher Perry, 28, pleaded not guilty in Attleboro District Court on a charge of receiving stolen property, according to the newspaper.

2. The Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter on Saturday will host its ninth annual Harvest Fest, Craft Fair & Family Event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fundraiser will take place at the shelter property, located at 27 Pond Street North.

3. Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary of Attleboro will host Friday Night Live at 6:30 p.m. where there will be a surprise live animal demonstration.

4. Seekonk Jr. Warriors Football and Cheerleading will hold a pasta dinner at the American Legion Post from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

5. Today's National Weather Service forecast includes patchy fog before 10 a.m. otherwise, mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 78.  At night, it is expected to be mostly clear with a low around 57.
