Hope Starr-Mararian and Ricky Silva of Seekonk were recently awarded exclusive tennis championship rings from Attleboro Open Tennis Championship Tournament.

Director Paul Perry presented the rings to Hope and Ricky for winning their singles championship divisions.

Rick was an outstanding athlete at Seekonk High School in basketball and first singles on the boys tennis team.

Hope is destined to be the girl's first singles player  according to Seekonk High School girls team tennis coach Mike Petrucci.

Hope has won 18 tournaments since starting playing at the age of 5 with her Dad at the S.H.S. and at 14 is ranked in the girls 16 Division in New England  is now playing USTA tournaments against girls who are 15 to 17 years old.
