Grace Baptist Graduates 7 Kindergartners
Adorned in white mortarboards and robes and proudly possessing "diplomas," seven students in the Kindergarten program of Grace Baptist Christian Academy of Attleboro completed their "graduation" requirements Friday night during a joyous ceremony at the school.
In front of a large crowd of family members and friends, the seven latest graduates of Grace Baptist's Kindergarten program exhibited their flourishing academic skills during an entertaining hour-long production, demonstrating their growing progress in mathematics, reading, science, English and Bible studies. Each student performed a specific role on cue and thoroughly delighted and impressed all in attendance.
This graduates were Phoenyx Cassidy, Zachariah "Seth" Duncan, Tylor Pittman-Rodriguez, Aylen Reyes, Lucienne Schleff, Hannah Silva and Faith Watson. Their teacher was Anna Barrett.
After leading the gathering in pledges to the American flag, Christian flag and Bible, the graduates narrated Biblical passages and stories and illustrated their academic progress through recitations, poems and songs. There was a screening of The Real Story of the Big, Bad Wolf, which stars the seven graduates and was produced by 2010 Grace Baptist high school graduate Adam Bailey.
Pastor Jeffrey Nichols, Grace Baptist's principal, delivered a brief devotion and closing remarks before presenting diplomas to graduates. Pastor Jeffrey Bailey, the school's founder and superintendent, delivered opening remarks.
