The Bears on Board program received a donation of 23 cuddly teddy bears Monday from Abigail Whittingham, an eighth-grader at Coelho Middle School. 

Abigail wanted to make a difference for the children in need in the Attleboro area. She decided to collect donations to purchase teddy bears and donate them to the Greater Attleboro Area Council for Children's Bears on Board program. She knew this program would reach out to the children in need, helping her accomplish her mission. 

Abigail met with Attleboro Police Chief Heagney and Sarah Achin from the Greater Attleboro Area Council for Children to celebrate her hard work.
