An April 4, 2012 deadline has been set for applications from human service agencies and other non-profit organizations wishing to participate in this year’s Volunteer Day celebration.

Presented as an annual “thank you” to volunteers serving numerous local service agencies, Volunteer Day will take place on Friday, April 27, 2012.  Festivities will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Attleboro High School, followed by a luncheon at the Attleboro Elks Hall.

The event is being co-sponsored by Sturdy Memorial Hospital and the Area Community Council, a consortium of area service agencies and individuals.  Requests for and submissions of applications should be made to:
